Susi Boss has been a senior paralegal with Higdon, Hardy & Zuflacht, L.L.P. for 22 years. She is the past president of the paralegal division of the State Bar of Texas and a member of the State Bar of Texas Family's Law Section, The College of the State Bar of Texas, San Antonio Bar Association, National Association of Legal Assistants, and San Antonio Paralegal Association. Ms. Boss earned her associates degree from the College of Paralegal Studies.
Katie Brown is the associate dean for information resources at Charleston School of Law. Her research and scholarship interests are in the areas of intellectual property, acting skills for lawyers, law and literature, management, and a variety of legal research related topics. Ms. Brown has taught specialized, beginner, and advanced legal research courses and seminars on legal technology for practice, art of advocacy, and contracts. She is a very active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). Ms. Brown has participated in a variety of leadership roles throughout the association chapters and special interest sections. She earned her B.F.A. degree from DePaul University, her master's degree in library and information science from the Drexel University iSchool and her J.D. degree from Seattle University School of Law. In 2024, Ms. Brown also received the Inaugural Technology & Ethics Award from the Association of American Law Schools Section on Technology, Law and Legal Education (AALS).
Rachel V. Rose , JD, MBA, successfully advises and represents clients on healthcare, cybersecurity, securities, qui tam compliance, transactional litigation, and government enforcement matters. She is an affiliated member with the Baylor College of Medicine's Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy, where she teaches bioethics. Ms. Rose is often quoted as an expert. In addition to being extensively published and a sought-after presenter and quoted expert, she holds an M.B.A. degree, with minors in healthcare and entrepreneurship, from Vanderbilt University; and a law degree from Stetson University College of Law, where she graduated with various honors, including the National Scribes Award. Ms. Rose also attained a certificate in negotiation and leadership from Harvard University. She is licensed in Texas, and is a fellow of the Federal Bar Association. Currently, Ms. Rose serves as a director on the FBA's National Board. She is a member of and the immediate past chair of the Federal Bar Association's Government Relations Committee, member of the Advisory Board of the Federal Bar Association's Qui Tam Section, co-editor of the American Health Lawyers Association's
